The researchers studied more than 12 million men and found that they were more likely to have a high sex drive, have a low sex drive, or have trouble achieving erection.
Their findings are likely due to a combination of factors, including more recent prescriptions from a doctor, a drug company, and a man's poor medical and lifestyle habits.
The study comes from a group of researchers at Harvard Medical School who helped determine the impact of Viagra's marketing and sales practices on the pharmaceutical industry.

The drug, called Cialis, has been in use since the late 1990s. A doctor prescribed it to millions of men around the world who quit smoking.
"We found that men who quit smoking were more likely to have a high sex drive, have a low sex drive, or have trouble achieving an erection," says Gold, who led the study.
Viagra, which has been available for more than 20 years, is used to help women who want to become pregnant or who have heart conditions, including coronary artery disease and stroke.
"Viagra is very effective, if not the most effective," says Gold. "In fact, studies show that it's more likely to work."
Viagra's effectiveness is a result of its lower cost. Pfizer, which makes the drug, sells only a handful of generics.
But many smokers prefer to take the pill to help with their health problems, says Gold, who is not involved in the research.
"The reason for this is that Viagra is a much better medicine than a placebo," says Gold.
One of the first trials that the researchers conducted involved more than 100,000 men. The study involved more than 23,000 patients, and it involved more than 6 million men.
Viagra is also used to treat pulmonary hypertension and high blood pressure.
Researchers found that people who used Viagra for more than two years got a better erection than those who didn't.
The study also found that men who quit smoking got an erection that was more frequent than was usual.
"These results suggest that Viagra may be the way to help women with erectile problems, as well as men with diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and other medical conditions," says Gold. "These findings are important because it will be important to know more about the effects of Viagra on a larger population of men who are currently taking medicines that contain sildenafil."

"It's a good idea to look for ways to help people quit smoking and have sex for the first time," Gold says.

A new study by a group of Australian men has shown that Viagra is still the best treatment for erectile dysfunction, while taking the drug in other countries is a little bit better than most Viagra users.
